This policy sets out what you may not do on the Guest WiFi guest WiFi. It exists
to keep the network usable for everyone and to keep the venue out of trouble.
Do not
Break the law, or help anyone else to
Download, share or stream copyrighted material you do not have the right to
— film, music, software, books
Access, store or share illegal material of any kind. Child sexual abuse
material and terrorist content will be reported to the police
Harass, threaten, defame or bully anyone
Send spam or bulk unsolicited email
Attack, scan, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, on this
network or elsewhere
Interfere with other guests' use — including flooding the network,
spoofing addresses, or running services that consume the whole connection
Attempt to bypass the content filtering, the time limits, or the sign-in
process
Use the network for commercial mining of cryptocurrency
Access adult content, gambling sites, or anything else inappropriate in a
venue where other customers, including children, can see your screen
Filtering
We filter domain lookups to block malware and adult content. This is a
reasonable precaution, not a guarantee: no filter catches everything, and some
devices and browsers can work around it. Filtering does not make the network safe
for unsupervised children, and it does not relieve you of the responsibilities
above.
If you break this policy
We may cut off your access immediately and permanently, and where the law
requires it we will cooperate with the police or other authorities. We keep
connection records for 12 months, which lets us identify which device was
responsible.
Reporting a problem
If you see something on this network that concerns you, tell any member of staff.
